The role

What this job actually is

Every application and every live deal passes through an audit before we commit. You are the person who reads the business, finds where the money is actually leaking, and decides whether the guarantee can be offered at all.

You are the brake and the scope setter. Sales wants yes. You decide what yes can safely include.

Day to day

Responsibilities

  • Review inbound applications against the written qualification standard
  • Audit the prospect's current sales and operations flow for the real bottleneck
  • Recommend the package configuration and the guarantee terms for each deal
  • Flag deals where the guarantee should not be offered and say why in writing
  • Support the closer on the call when the audit needs explaining
The bar

Requirements

  • Strong commercial judgment about small and mid sized businesses
  • Able to read a funnel, a CRM export, and a set of numbers and form a view
  • Writes short, decisive assessments rather than long hedged ones
  • Comfortable disagreeing with sales in front of sales
